We are currently finalizing our 2017-2018 schedule of events!
Ciccarelli Advisory Services was honored to sponsor the Private Patron
Reception at the 2017 Power of the Purse gala luncheon on December 1.
Empowering Women through Community Philanthropy
Our sponsorship not only helped to make this wonderful event possible, but will also benefit a wide range of philanthropic initiatives throughout Collier County.
In particular, three $20,000 grants were presented at the event:
Salvation Army – Assisting those who are food insecure or struggling to afford housing.
Senior Friendship Health Center – Providing medical and dental support to elderly people in the community (particularly women).
Legal Aid – Offering pro-bono legal representation to those who cannot afford attorney fees.
A Spellbinding Message of Hope
The keynote speaker for the event, Ann Curry, delivered a dynamic address during the luncheon – incorporating her experiences reporting on tragedies through the world (particularly the Darfur region of Sudan, but also in the Congo and the former Yugoslav states) into a spellbinding message of hope.
Her key message: Even the most horrendous atrocities in the world are often overshadowed by courageous acts of compassion and empathy. Those who give selflessly of themselves serve as a beacon of hope to the world – reaffirming Ms. Curry’s core beliefs that humanity is inherently good and that we will always coalesce behind the best angels of our nature to counteract suffering, oppression and evil.
A Reception to Remember
Following the program, we transitioned to the Private Patron Reception (the portion of the event that was sponsored by CAS). We had the distinct opportunity to have our photos taken with Ann Curry and to interact with her for a brief time.
We were grateful for the opportunity to play a key role in this year’s Power of the Purse.
The event was a smashing success – and witnessing the positive reverberations of philanthropic action throughout our community was both inspirational and fulfilling.
Thank you to all of our Rochester client families who joined us for the Market Wrap event!

The fourth annual SpelLIFE Women’s Wellness Summit inspired and educated more than 350 women in the Southwest Florida community about the eight dimensions of wellness – offering them the insights and resources needed to pursue a wellness-focused lifestyle.
The summit – presented by A Euphoric Living Foundation, Inc., and èBella magazine – was on Saturday, April 1 in Naples.
The focus of SpelLIFE 2017 was promoting inner and outer beauty, a message that was articulated by two keynote speakers: Glennon Doyle Melton, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Love Warrior; and Crystal Andrus Morissette, best-selling author of The Emotional Edge.
Both keynote speakers emphasized the importance of being open about one’s vulnerabilities, speaking freely about hardships and encouraging women to take a proactive role in creating their own success.
In addition, five breakout speakers from the Naples community shared their expertise on a variety of beauty and health-related topics: Gaynell Anderson, Mindy DiPietro, Deb Logan, Jill Ciccarelli Rapps, and LaDonna Roye.
The SpelLIFE Women’s Wellness Summit also featured 30 resource exhibits, where local organizations showcased the services and value they offer to help women achieve lifelong wellness.
A portion of the proceeds from the SpelLIFE Women’s Wellness Summit benefited The David Lawrence Center, a local non-profit organization that provides treatment for people with mental health and addiction issues.
The event was sponsored by Absolute Physical Therapy, Aesthetic Treatment Centers, Ciccarelli Advisory Services, èBella Magazine, Image MD, LaDonna Roye Hairstylists, Life in Naples Magazine, and Wynn’s Market.

We kick-started the holiday season with a charity networking event at our Naples office!
Our event – De-Stressing before the Holidays – not only provided an opportunity for guests to relax, but also served as a forum for meeting fellow professionals from the community. In additional, we generated awareness and funds for Collier Child Care Resources.
CCCR operates several early childhood education centers in the Naples area, which provide top-notch educational opportunities for families in need. We welcomed more than 80 guests from the CCCR Business 100, a group of business owners and professionals who annually pledge their support for the organization’s admirable mission.
Our visitors dined on a delicious dish of paella from Fire & Rice, savored decadent desserts from Here’s Howe Catering, and sipped on wine throughout the evening. We also featured a quartet of string musicians from Gulf Coast High School and a massage room that was furnished by Cloud9 Float and Spa – providing an extra touch of relaxation for our Naples business community.

On a spectacular 60-degree day, our CAS Rochester family once again helped our friends at Heritage Christian Services with fall clean-up at one of their residential homes in Webster.
Armed with rakes, tarps, clippers, and sunglasses, our team of volunteers – Lisa Buckert, Carrie Reeves-Hillyard, Jessica Beach, and Jordan Ramsay – tackled an enormous amount of leaves, which continued to fall as they were working!
Our Volunteer Day is one of the many ways that CAS supports the communities where we live and work.
